Consider volunteering and join the very first groups to shop and have the best opportunity to find the best for less! Husbands and grandparents are welcomed too...they can volunteer for their own benefits or to help you earn your consignor benefits. Just let us know in advance of the substitution.

No time to volunteer during the sale?  Email us to help with advertising our events prior to the sale. Distribute bookmarks and flyers to 12-15 local businesses or post and retrieve 10 road signs to receive Level 1 volunteer credit.

If you are not a consignor and would like to volunteer for a shift in order to obtain an early shopping pass, please go to the location page of the event you would like to register for and sign-up as a non-consigning volunteer. You may select any shift(s) from the first 3 days of the schedule, or you may also contact us with a different volunteer idea to earn a presale pass (example: help with advertising or barter services).

ALL PRESALE PASSES ARE VALID FOR ONE CUSTOMER AND WELL-SUPERVISED CHILDREN. GUESTS OF PRESALE PASS HOLDERS ARE NOT ADMITTED UNLESS THEY HAVE THEIR OWN PASS.

* Example of door prizes are a free photo session and 8"x10" picture, free consignor registration, vendor gifts, gift certificates from various businesses, and tickets for kids activities.

Children under 15 years old are not permitted to be with you during volunteer shifts.  If you have a child 15 years old or older and would like to see if they can work with you, please contact us via email to see if any positions are available for them. Bringing a teenage child with you does not increase consignor commission. Thank you for your understanding.

Grandparents and spouses are welcomed to volunteer on behalf of a consignor so the consignor can earn the higher commission and presale benefits! We love having extra "man"power during our set-up and take down days! Please consider asking your husband to volunteer a shift on your behalf to help us set-up or break-down (he will also earn a $20 Lowe's or Home Depot Gift Certificate!). Contact us at info@theclothingtree.com so we can work out the details with you if someone will be volunteering on your behalf. We love our volunteers and make every attempt to accommodate your scheduling needs so please contact us if you have an idea for some time you can volunteer, but do not see those times posted.

Please note that if you do not provide 7 days notice of the need to cancel your shift, or you fail to arrive for your volunteer shift a $15 fee will be deducted from your commission check. Additionally, your commission will return to 60% and you will lose any remaining presale benefits. Thanks for your understanding of this policy. We love our volunteers and rely upon them to make our sale successful! Any volunteer (consignor or non-consignor) who does not provide notice of the need to cancel a volunteer shift will be placed on the Prohibited Volunteers list and will not be able to sign up for future sales.

We will also consider bartering for services such as printing, advertising, or other ideas you may have. Perhaps you know a reporter or have a connection for radio advertising? How about a preschool, dance club, or gymnastics group? We will advertise for them if they will hand out our postcards to all of their students. Contact us with your idea to exchange advertising or barter for a presale pass....we would love to hear it!
